I received this email this morning. This is intended to be a pretty major event and it has a very impressive line-up of speakers. I wonder if the economic environment has impacted on the conference? Either way, this reminds me to make a more concerted effort arranging alt.conference. If the economic climate is going to start impacting on these big budget productions then smaller conferences like alt.conference will become more and more important.
